Welcome to this quick tutorial on how to manage instant orders in Consumrz! Streamline your operations and provide timely service by efficiently managing every stage of your orders.
In this video, you’ll learn how to:
Access the Orders to be Prepared section in your dashboard to view all instant orders needing completion within their designated prep times. For example, if coffee has a 5-minute prep time, the order will appear here as soon as it’s placed.
Manage orders seamlessly as they move through each status:
New: All incoming orders appear here. When you’re ready to start, click Approve, and the status will change to Preparing, indicating the order is now in progress.
Preparing: While you work on the order, keep it in this status. Once the order is finished, click Ready to notify the customer.
Ready: This status shows that the order is complete and waiting for pickup. When the customer collects the order, click Mark as Finished to finalize it.
Use the status bar at the top of the screen to filter orders:
Approved: See only orders awaiting preparation.
Preparing: Focus on orders currently in progress.
Ready: View all completed orders awaiting pickup.
